Power Gloss(PG) is the first and most aggressive step in paint correction. It will gradually remove 1000-1500 grit sanding scratches, paint overspray and stubborn swirls while leaving the finish clean and ready for swirl remover. PG is safe for all paint surfaces but works best on harder ceramic type clear coats found on cars from companies like Ford, GM, BMW, and Mercedes Benz. 

 

Power Gloss was designed to be used with a rotary style buffer, but it can be used with machines like the Porter Cable 7424, UDM-1000 or the Flex. The process will take a little longer but the results are just the same. For rotary polisher use, set speed at 1200-1800 RPM using a yellow or orange pad. For the dual action polishers, with a yellow or orange pad set speed @ 4000-6000 OPM.  After several passes check the surface to see if the defect has been removed. If not, lightly mist the foam pad and continue until the imperfection is removed.  PG should be followed with the Super Intensive Polish (SIP) or Tropi Care’s Swirl-Cutter (TC-8). Then top with Sealant xP (TC-3).  Power Gloss is water based and contains NO silicone.  Safe for paint and body shop use.  Follow directions on bottle for use.  Thank you for choosing Tropi Care.
