| Swirl Cutter Plus was developed for removing 2000 grit and finer sanding scratches, light-moderate oxidation, machine-induced compound swirl marks and other defects without any loss of surface gloss or induced marring. After use of this product, you can apply a paint sealant, liquid or paste wax immediately. Swirl Cutter Plus contains a high concentration of super fine cutting abrasives to gradually remove the blemish while leaving a clear and brilliant shine. With its corrective action, the surface is cleaned leaving little to no effort for removing excess residue. It features a stronger and more abrasive nature compared to original Swirl Cutter.
While being extremely versatile and easy to use, Swirl Cutter Plus removes a broad range of defects from surface such as oxidation, dull paint, stubborn water spots and machine induced swirls or spider webs/scratches. It acts like "polish", but it cuts like a rubbing compound. These microscopic particles gently level the paint or clear coat without inflicting any uneven stress on the surface. Swirl Cutter Plus is equally effective on newly cured or older paint surfaces. Do not use in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces.
Swirl Cutter Plus can be used by either hand or machine methods, both rotary and dual action. The polishing action gradually removes the swirl marks typically induced by a rotary buffer used with a heavy rubbing compound. In hand use, you will be able to enhance surface gloss but may not be able to remove swirls or scratches. For machine users, you can set rotary polishers at 1200-1800 RPM or 5000-6000 OPM for dual-action polishers such as the Porter Cable, UDM or Flex. We experienced excellent results with orange or white Lake Country Mfg. CCS foam buffing pads. While using the polisher or buffer, move slowly across a 2’ x 2’ section with overlapping strokes for several minutes. As the product breaks down, reduce pressure and buff to a high gloss. Wipe the area with a damp microfiber towel after polishing to review your progress.
This unique formula is water based, silicone free and creates minimal dusting. It's effective on all paint and is body shop safe. Swirl Cutter Plus engulfs a large range of surface correction. IE: It will cut close to to as deep as some professional grade compounds but more impressively, requires little to no final polishing due to its remarkable final result. Summary: This is the only one step "compolish" you will need in your arsenal.
Helpful hint: For heavily scratched finishes, follow up with original Swirl Cutter using a white polishing foam buffing pad on darker colors to eliminate any minor micro-marring.
